June 13 International Day of Play Webinar - Council's ‘Brain-Building Benefits of Play’ parent webinar aligns with the International Day of Play held annually June 11. Presenters: Sally Johnson and Belinda Lum, from the ACT Education Directorate, Gabby Millgate, Woden Valley ELC Nature Pedagogy Leader, and Ali Sewter, Director, Forrest Out of School Hours Care, talked about the benefits of play, play at preschool and school, practical tips to get more play in your day, and the role of risk and nature in play.
