Review into the approval process for non-government schools

The ACT Council of Parents & Citizens Associations (Council) is pleased to see the release of the analysis regarding the submissions made by Council and 10 other organisations concerning the approval and registration processes for non-government schools in the ACT.

 

Council welcomes the positive responses by the Education Minister, Ms Joy Burch, to the recommendations included in the analysis.  Council wishes to thank Ms Narelle Hargreaves and Mr Craig Curry for their work in undertaking the analysis.

Council would be very happy to work with the Education and Training Directorate and other organisations in pursuing those recommendations.
