The ACT’s peak body for public school parents is deeply concerned over rising incidents of violence against bus drivers. We’re really disappointed to see school students taking the blame for what is a broader community issue.  

The ACT Council of Parents & Citizens Associations, the parent voice on public education, is extremely disappointed and disturbed that a student may have been subject to a restrictive practice in an ACT public school.

ACT’s peak body for public school parents is disappointed to see that public education will receive the bare minimum in today’s Budget allocations - with funding to repair leaky school roofs, teach children to read and write, and ensure some students are fed.

The ACT’s peak body representing the views of public school parents welcome the ACT Government’s Inclusive Education Strategy, which was launched today. A number of dedicated parents who contributed to the development of the strategy and action plan were in attendance.
