Public Education Election Forum: Engaging with 2024 ACT Election Candidates

Council's highly successful Public Education Election Forum, held in the lead-up to the 2024 ACT election, attracted over 100 registrations, demonstrating the strong interest and commitment of our community to public education.

The event provided an invaluable platform for parents, carers, and P&C representatives to engage directly with the ACT election candidates, specifically the education spokespeople.

The forum covered a wide range of key issues facing public education in the ACT, from school resourcing to inclusive education practices.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear firsthand how candidates plan to address these challenges and enhance the quality of education for all students.

If you missed the live event or want to revisit any of the discussions, you can watch the full recording here.

We encourage everyone to view the forum to stay informed on the issues that matter most to our public schools and to make an informed decision in the upcoming election.
