The meeting will begin with the launch of Council's Reconciliation Action plan, with ACT Minister for Education, Yvette Berry, MLA. Come along and hear from school leaders from several ACT public schools about their innovative cultural integrity initiatives, and enjoy the flavours of bush foods. Our Reconciliation Action Plan is a clear commitment to recognise and value the work, teachings and spiritual connection with the land of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Council is embarking on a journey to become more culturally aware, curious and respectful, and to listen and learn from our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents and communities. Our journey starts with our this launch!
